EighteenSixty7
Superb I thought, hopefully he'll continue to start. Well worth the wait.
Wednesday-Wonderland
Good on the ball but slow and lightweight off it. Complete passenger most of the game.
Ronnie Starling
I thought he was tidy. He would look better with movement from team mates.
OwlsfaninNorway
I'd like McManaman to start also.
ramone
Agree with the passenger comment above. Looked way off the pace for me and didn't want to know for the majority of the time on the pitch.

The devil you say. The passenger was Bannan on the wing, unfortunately.
WhiteOwl91
I genuinely don't understand what people see. Some saying he was awful, some saying he was good. Baffling. For me he put in a tidy shift with some good positive balls, good touch and available. But hey he was built up after Saturday, so let's whip him tonight eh

When has Bannan ever claimed to be a left winger? It's not his fault Carlos played him there.
gurujuan
I'm glad that he's finally made the side, but I still think he'd have more influence in a midfield three
jonnyowl
He's very good at getting on the ball and keeping it simple, and getting us moving forward.

He wasn't doing enough in the centre though either, of course most managers would drop him for a game or two, but Carlos shoe-horns him in somewhere always! I agree. Please let's stop playing centre midfielders on the wing.
TrickyTrev
He was ok but I expected a bit more to be honest after Saturday. That said he was better than Bannan who once again put in another awful display tonight. How he keeps on getting picked is beyond me.

Bannan isn't a winger but he is a professional footballer and taking that into account, I'd expect his passing to be of a far higher standard than it currently is. In recent weeks he's been guilty of giving the ball away or slowing down attacks way too many times.

Guest samowl
Eye eye. Bannan fan club alive and well. Abdy looked to go forward tonight. Bannans carrying don't play him. Let him get fit. Then play him in the middle where he belongs. Not wide. Achieves nothing
aeroswfc
He'll be better next game.
Beholder
Hmm. I was expecting better. But there was some good stuff. Keiran Lee he isn't though. We miss Keiran real bad. Goes without saying.
