Reach doesn't deserve a bit of the dog's abuse for this game, especially since he's put in solid shifts What does he bring? Absolutely vital versatility in the mid. Can drop back and charge forth. Usually picks up for others' mistakes, too. Agenda driven? How have you come to that conclusion? I'm giving my thoughts on a player that plays for my team. No agenda And the 3 positives you're giving me are: 1. He can play poorly in lots of different positions 2. He can run both forwards AND backwards 3. He can run to cover a team mate Hahahha thank you so much for confirming my argument. None of his 'positive attributes' involve a football at his feet. MysticOwl
Reach adds to our team, I really do not see how people can say otherwise. However, I will add this. If you are the chairman and your £5m player is on the bench or not in the match day squad, you are going to start asking questions. curran-bun
If he keeps neshing tackles he is going to get seriously hurt sooner or later. Never goes through the tackle and bottles it early. I said he was low on confidence at first, as in he is negative and likes to play the ball backwards instead of taking a man on when playing on the left, but now i just think its because he is an average footballer. bigdan2003
I thought he was better when McManaman came on, and was allowed to get forward.
Doctor John
Why scapegoat Reach? Palmer, Loovens, Sasso, Wallace, Bannon were poor and Winnall and Rhodes did nowt. Forestieri was the only player on our side who did well tonight. We did not get going until the last half hour - you can't heap all the blame for that one one player! Like most, his game is stifled by tactics, but to a degree, those tactics are working Personally, I'm of the opinion that we'd actually get more from our players by releasing the shackles a bit

Ive simply given my view on him based seeing him play football a few times this season. Also, not one of you people negging away have given me a positive attribute that he has. Hardly surprising

dani_armo
In that little cameo tonight mcmanaman showed us what we are missing on the left. Reach hasn't got that in his locker and 5mil for a 'steady' left back looks a bit dodgy to me I sort of agree that I'm not sure what he's supposed to be...A winger? A full back? A wing back? He wouldn't play in front of mcmanaman or ff on the left for me so it's full back battling for a place with fox and pudil
