What have Brighton got that we don't?

That's not true. We had the togetherness from the beginning of last season when the tragic Shoreham Air Crash happened that's why we were so close last year. We have kept the squad together from last season and recruited very smartly. Duffy and Murray being the obvious two.

SMALL MARGINS  (ooohhhh mrs)

No injuries  to key players all at the same time? Which could happen and hopefully  coincide with us eventually going up the gears back to our best.

Take their 4 best players away for a number of games and see how they cope.

We will come through this spell and teams like Brighton, L##ds, Udders, Barnsley ect will suffer dips in form which will probably coincide with injuries to key players.

Keep the faith in Carlos and his team.

Play off semi final first leg springs to mind.

They cross the ball for the big man in the box and are very effective from set pieces.

They've only scored two more goals than us all season from set-pieces, we've actually scored a higher proportion of our goals from set-pieces than they have

I think that's a bit misleading D, they were on an upward trajectory under Poyet and Garcia, lost their way a bit when they appointed Sami Hyypia, but got back on track under Hughton.

i think the two seasons before the one you've highlighted they made the play offs.

Bar one blip Brighton have been pretty much a permanent fixture in the top 6 since they came up under Poyet several years ago.

They've got a good manager and a talented squad of players, plus a debt of nearly 30 million (not that ours will be much better).

Last season they were a win at Boro away from getting promoted and finished 15 or so points ahead of us. We out performed them in the play offs (despite their incessant crying and that first half at the Amex) and were able to dump them out. We wouldn't exactly be the first team in the play off history to knock out a better side.

A promotion to the Prem has been on the cards for Brighton for a good four, five years. Last season was the first time that Wednesday have got into the Championship play offs and have looked like a promotion contender since relegation from the Prem in 2000.

A better transfer policy. They don't sign 8 players in the hope that 2 of them will make the starting 11, thereby squandering vital resoutces.

A manager who has been there, done that.

In May, the championship title.

Really? I'm surprised at that, everytime I watch Brighton they seem to score or come very close from most set pieces.

They still managet to get very good balls into a dangerous area from out wide something I think we lack.
