The bit I didn't get is that there are 1,000 kg in a tonne.  Therefore 3,000kg in a tonne.

Average supporter weighs (optimistically because most of us are fatter) 75 kg.

That means only 40 supporters can stand on our bridge at any one time lol

But that is what I was told by a club official.

Did you used to assist old casio with the accounts? 3000kg in a tonne ffs

In a US tonne there are 3000kg.  Maybe that is what it is, US tonnes and not metric tonnes.

Although that still means there shouldn't be more than 120 people on the bridge at the same time. At the end of the match there are more than that.

it also means that the new Owl weighs 18,000 kg, which is surely too much.

I was in the directors area on Friday.

Instead of taking down the 70s badge we are all familiar with thats on the wall in there in steel - theyve put a blue curtain over it (I looked behind it as it looks like we are about to have a plaque dedicated or something!)

lol

1 tonne equals 1000 kilogrammes equals 1102 US Pounds  equals 2,206 pounds (lbs)

The tonne  is simply 1000 kilogrames, and is just short of the UK Ton which is 2240 pounds.

depends on which scrap dealer you go too. All have dodgy scales lol
