Gauld was tipped for big big things but he seems to have not developed as much as he perhaps should have done at Sporting. In fairness he has hardly had any game time which is bound to harm his development. Definitely worth a look on a loan deal, he's several leagues above McCabe was, who I said even before we signed him was average.
