Davidioso
April is insane - 7 games! Just 3 in Feb and 4 in March. I know the FA Cup needs factoring in but still seems a bit lopsided
BIG D
The more I look at it I can't see us missing out on the play offs. I reckon we'll finish 5th, beat Brighton over 2 legs and do Burnley at Wembley.
Holmowl
Not sure about 5th, but we should really make 6th from where we are now. I think there is a natural order about this div this season. Are we as good as Hull, Boro and Burnley.....no. Are we as good as Brighton....its close. Are we as good as Derby.....yes. Are we better than Cardiff, Brum and ipswich....yes. We need to avoid too many freak results (qpr), and nick the odd freak result (brum) and its play offs.
themaskedowl
I don't know why people are panicing, top six is nailed on I'm not panicking but nothing is nailed on yet. We are as strong a candidate as any of the top 6 to stay there. We have deserved our place to this point. From here on in, anything could happen. mozzy85
Another one for you. Not difficult to see what our problem has been. Season Record.png MK dons and charlton away are the standout results that have cost us a chance at autos there. Can accept losses against the other teams, even Preston. ChinaOwl
April is insane - 7 games! Just 3 in Feb and 4 in March. I know the FA Cup needs factoring in but still seems a bit lopsided That is to our advantage in my opinion. The fixtures in April will test all of our rivals as well. It is then that having such a big squad with so many options in every position will really give us the edge.
BIG D
Updated after Brighton v Leeds. Looks as if the top 4 are sorted. We certainly need to win our next 2 home games and pick up what we can at Brighton & Forest. If we can get into April at least level with the teams immediately around us then we should be ok. Holmowl
Just look at those April fixtures for all teams. Do doctors prescribe beta blockers for football fan nerves?
Guest The Horse
After Brighton away, we've got a very favourable five match run where we should be looking to really put pressure on those above us. On paper we should win all of those. Of course football doesn't work that way though and our away form has been the kryptonite on our season. At least so far...Still, that block of games will be where we prove ourselves worthy or not - all in my opinion of course.
York_Owl
I'm thinking (hoping) we will pick up around 22 points which will mean we finish on 77pts. Will that be enough for the play-offs or is 22 points from 12 games a bit unrealistic?
carterowl
If the gap with Cardiff is still the same by our last home match how many welsh fans will invade Sheffield for that one ? SY Police will want that KO time moving

Caicos Owl
The worrying thing about that mini table is we are bottom of the current form league
BIG D
Don't worry about that mate. 2 very difficult away games included in that and we're now on the back of an excellent performance at the league leaders. ChinaOwl
March 3rd: Birmingham v. Hull. March 12th: Cardiff v. Ipswich. Both could go some way to sorting the destiny of this season.
taylor
Thanks for this BigD. April looks nuttier than squirrel shiit... I'm pleased with that bank of four games against lesser sides going into the Ipswich game. I'm calling Cardiff our biggest threat to 6th place. Hull and Burnley to go up.
