Mr. Chow
Just imagine if we needed that goal to stay up.
BIG D
Wasn't the linesman almost in the centre of the pitch as well when we breaking?
Guest mkowl
Wasn't the linesman almost in the centre of the pitch as well when we breaking? Probably would have tackled Isgrove
owls66
What a way to sum up the poor officiating this season (or every season). Scandalous decision.
SallyCinnamon
Wow never seen anything like that. Referee should be sacked on the spot, absolutely disgraceful.

themaskedowl
God that's terrible. Right unfair. You (and I) would have correctly picked the score too.

mattitheowl
Would be if he had blown when the corner was cleared Watched it back and the ref clearly blows the first time before Isgrove crosses the half way line. He then blows again when Isgrove is about 30 yards form goal as he's obviously not heard the whistle. Just not bothered...
podski1
Love it how Isgrove belts the ball away from the fan wanting the ball as a souvenier - class!!
FlyingOwl
If it was Deeney breaking through to score into an empty net..or even one on one, you could bet your life that the ref wouldn't blow. It doesn't mean THAT much to us. But it's only fair. The ref waited for Isgrove to break free before blowing. If he'd a blow straight after the corner was cleared I wouldn't have an issue. Guest
Watford fans absolute planks, shameful!! Noticed that MOTD didn't show any part of that. Keepers gambled should of been a Wednesday win, very poor ref.
Leaping Lannys Perm
The weirdest thing is, IF the rest said he'd blow up straight after the corner, he is telling Watford it is safe to commit all 11 players into the 6 yard box because there is no risk. I suppose they'd risk it anyway due to the circumstances but that is unique to those exact circumstance in that exact game.

scram
Sometimes you have to choose doing the right thing and doing the sensible thing The ref chose the latter There were no other extenuating variables so its pointless to talk about them I think the ref added on too much time after the equaliser anyway

The ball has to go dead (barring penalties) for time to be up.
