roaminowl
Nice one OzOwl. That's up there with his top 6, definitely top 10, prediction. Based upon his previous track record, that's the last we'll see of him in this thread. Shame.

Belfast Owl 2
If you can't get 30k in the ground for this, with 4k away fans, last home game of the season and your best finish since Adam was a lad, then you might as well pack up. Tongue in cheek comments about us bigging our away support up are nothing compared to claims on here about potential 35k+ averages in the PL. Time to flex your muscles Wednesdayites and display some of this MASSIVE potential. With 4k away and a Yorkshire derby, The Blades would get 30k for this, will you? Are you an expert in every teams attendances? Really? Last time you visited there was a must win game for them, Leeds in with a chance of auto to prem, 1.00 pm KO you lost 0-2 Attendance.........23,728 give up JV

For a nothing game in a 12.15 kick off in a season blighted by appallingly dull football, adding in the fact parents with young kids won't go anywhere near Leeds United? You'll have to try harder than that I'm afraid JV Edited April 21, 2015 by GroundhoppingOwl

The blunts would have sold all tickets for a game at Hillsborough, same as Barnsley and Rotherham would have by now. Is it just a West Yorkshire thing? Huddersfield brought bugger all other week too. Sheff Utd were going down and they knew it, languishing in the bottom three most of the season. Were they to be having there highest potential finish outside of the PL for 15 years, a new owner with promises of promotion within two years and spending whatever it takes ect... there'd be close to 26k home fans there. OasisOwl72
I’ll choose to ignore JV’s latest flawed logic but just to add to the way OzOwl has superbly rinsed him or her. Dem “Blades would get 30k for thisâ€. You sure JV? Apart from the game Oz rightly mentioned, the last 4 league games prior to that. 2006 2nd and 5th respectively in a VITAL game in April 29,329 Then we have 22,959 and then back in the Prem days 19,425 and 20,562. Not a 30k at all to be seen anywhere and certainly not one for a 2nd tier game that is technically meaningless. JV I think it may be time to JFO! You do realise Leeds have only averaged 1,900 more than Wednesday this season with a home Yorkshire Derby still to come to boost ours? (21,913 vs 23,803) You do realise Elland Road has only been 4% fuller than Hillsborough this season? (55% vs 59%) And this is on the back of a Leeds takeover last spring/summer. Seriously, you go on as if there is a 10-year waiting list at Leeds and Elland Road is packed out every other week, yet the facts tell a different story.
