Owl Rly
The case for Jones to stay? He got us promoted and worked shrewdly in the transfer market. Rome wasn't built in a day Rome wasn't built in a day, but on the builder reference: did we need to completely gut and chuck out everything that was good about last year? Did we need the complete and dramatic rehaul?
Guest chuckie4570
Never in a month of sundays would he come to Hillsboro!
Innes
I realise he probably wouldn't have stopped us having this dismal a run, but Danny Batth alongside garder and a settled back 4 would have done us wonders
Tommo_
I suppose we should get a new manager in, after all it worked well for Sheffield United to stick themselves on the management carousel..... Wait.
scilly owl
I can't see a change happening....two managers on gardening leave, Milan wouldn't stand for that...I suppose Milan could ask Meggo back to offset the payments...or with his contacts he could even have one of them (or even both) done away with. I think that we've got D.J. for a little while yet -- but what the hell do I know, I never saw the Ginger sacking coming.
jonnyowl
Can't keep sacking managers. What's worrying is our lack of creativity, urgency and pace in our play. I also think that some of the players he has brought in are poor players. But he deserves longer!

Rome wasn't built in a day Show me some evidence he worked shrewdly in the transfer market? On the evidence of this season he signed 1 good player, Antonio - who was really megsons signing. striker
I am not advocating getting rid just yet but one things for sure Milan ain't going to risk a relegation scrap. There is too much riding in this season for everyone
kingsidney
I think he should get more time. At least until we are close to the point of no return. No one else is going to sort it easily .. I mean who would MM get? Harry doesnt go north. It would be big Mick or Billy Davies. What do you class as the point of no return? 1 point from 21 and set up for a 0-0 at home. Spender
Strong rumour that MM is lining up Steve Cotterill, who turned Bournemouth away yesterday. Second choice is Eddie Howe from Burnley. 'Arry is waiting for Mark Hughes to get offed from QPR.
Guest SouthStand Gentleman
I think Dave Jones should stay because; Got us promoted and playing amazing football last season. Brought in players who should be playing well. Experienced manager who has a good record. We need to give a manager time, not sack everyone who goes on a bad run. We have been playing well but had a LOT of bad luck. Team still has to gel. However, there are very good reasons why he could be sacked; We have lost 7 out of 8. Something has to change, SOON! No team spirit. No "Never say die attitude. Players fighting between themselves indicates a lost dressing room. A lot of players under-performing. Too many changes and new faces. Blue and white
1 point from a possible 21 tells you there isn't a case for him to stay.

trevdi9
in milans buisness world of building a club to sell Time is not an option ,if he feels that DJ is threatening to derail his dream for swfc ,Dj will be gone, sentiment and patience is not in Milans interests ,He will not be happy that the team is going in reverse, every week that we lose is another nail in DJ's coffin , the team now is the total oposite from last years in fight and effort ,this is the problem ,the momentum from last year has been cast asside for what reason other than thinking that last years backbone and togetherness wasn't good enough , well tbh this years fight and togetherness is worse bordering on none existance Edited October 6, 2012 by trevdi9

Guest JC Saviour
its the lack of clean sheets that worry we - we seems unable to give the side confidence in being tight at the back. Its the lack of points which concern me. I would settle for 5 sodding 4 every match.
Owl1974
Thought about it myself. Can't see it though so realistically? I could see Harry coming in till the end of the season to keep us up and give Milan time to find the right man for the job.
ramone
DJ knows the score. If you don't get results, you get the sack. A lot of people said how great DJ was in getting us promoted, he took over a team that was 3rd in the league, and filled with determination and passion to fight and win every game. If MM had backed Megson back in January brining Marshall in on the left and Antonio on the right which is what Meggo wanted we would have been promoted!
