EcclesallOwl
Made an absolutely flipping brilliant save when it was 2-1 to keep us winning. Solid performance and proved any doubters wrong! Well done lad! *RICHARD O'DONNELL! MY 'N' BUTTON IS SH*T. Bluesteel
Sounds like he kept us in it during a dodgy five minutes. Good that he did that after not doing much for 75 mins too. He's a good keeper who is still learning.
malek
I know this wont get good response on here, but I'm starting to rate him above Weaver (and I really rate Weaver).
Guest keyser soze
I know this wont get good response on here, but I'm starting to rate him above Weaver (and I really rate Weaver). He's more agile and a better shot stopper than Weaver. The commanding side will no doubt develop. The save at 2-1 was the difference between 3 points and possibly 0! Will be our #1 for years

Jowl
Brilliant save at 2-1. I didn't think he had that much to do today but there Agee times he should have come off his line to claim it. Happy to have in the side though
RockieOwl
Well done to the lad. I wouldn't say I slated him but still think he shouldn't have let the goal in against charlton but produced a great save that was as important as palmer and madines contribution for 3 points. Don't forget jameson though who was our no.2 last season till he got injured and think we have 2 good keepers behind weaver
swfc-dan
Yep great save at 2-1, ball was heading right for the top corner. That was probably the key moment in the match.

Another season or two under weaver ROD will be a prem keeper in the future whether with us(I hope) or with someone else
Guest JonTheOwl66
He was commanding the defence very well today.
viva hate
I was just thinking near the end of the game how much his kicking had improved from last season and then he spoofed one out for a throw in! Apart from that, he was top quality !

andrewowl
He will be 23 on the 12th of this month, I commented to the lad behind me, how I thought he was starting to grow as a player, The only problem is, it is not just us noticing how well the lad is doing, there will be premiership clubs out there starting to watch him. Just hope we can keep hold, as he is one for the future!!!
abrodie2002
The lad has done well... at one stage last season AJ was being picked before him but then injuries to both weaver and Jamesson (sp?) gave him an opportunity and he's grasped it with both hands and come on leaps and bounds! Keep it up son! UTO!

One for the future,i'd say he is more than good enough now and is only going to get better.Agree with you that teams higher up the leagues will start to take an interest. Weshallovercome
I'm really pleased to hear ROD played well, given game time he will be a far better keeper than Weaver imo.......he always seems to play well when called upon, given a run he'll not let us down. Well done, Richard!
owlZfan84
Premier league quality save was that. I was right behind it in the Kop and I've no idea how he got to it. It looked in all the way. Even more impressive considering he had jack all to do in the game leading up to the save. Cracking save ROD. Long may it continue.
