If it ended like that, and someone told me before Leeds we can go in to the final run in (after Ipswich) only 1 win from safety, I would have absolutely snatched their hands off

We might’ve lost 6-0. Not ideal but we were never going to stay up on goal difference alone. Some were saying if we came out of the next 2 games within 3 points of 21st then it’s a result but suddenly it isn’t.

All things considered, today could have a been a ton worse.

 

Only 3 sides managing to get a draw each - if you’d have offered us to be 2 points from 20th with 8 games to go, we’d have all taken it.

 

2 week break now, get the lads refreshed and ready to go again.

 

We’re into the nitty gritty now.
