@owlstalk
Say you're in charge of re-launching the Premier League from scratch You are free to select any 20 teams from any division in this country to make up the 20 Premier League teams that you deem worthy/big enough Do we make it onto that list? Who's your 20? 2 Owlstalk Shop

Popular Post Lincs Owl
If worthy/big enough is the criteria for being in the Prem, you might as well do away with promotion and relegation. How would clubs like Luton, who were non league about 12 years ago, ever get there? I'm sure everyone will be sticking a list of 20 clubs up with Sunderland and Wednesday in there, and the Blades missing. I think it's a daft OP. I'll be watching Salford v Stockport on Sky later. That's what football should be about. Support your local club and f*** the TV clubs. 8

Hoofit
https://www.myfootballfacts.com/england_footy/football-league/all-time_top_flight_points_table/ This seems a pretty reasonable way to select the 20. 1
Django
In order of massiveness Man utd Liverpool Arsenal Aston Villa Man city Everton Tottenham Chelsea Newcastle The Wednesday Leeds Sunderland West Ham Forest Wolves West Brom Leicester Derby Blackburn Norwich maybe Ipswich Before anyone laughs at how high we are, Bobby Robson said not long before he died that we are in the top 10 clubs in this country and I agree. Ever the pessimist
Let’s remove bias from this: pretty much every time I see this hypothetical on social media, Wednesday are included. A recent thread I saw of ‘who from outside the prem would improve it’ consistently had Wednesday, Leeds and Sunderland as the teams suggested.
