Quite like the ref announcing the decision

Not sure what it adds if we dont hear the referee’s reasoning for the decisions

Making the imaginary TV motion… pointing to the spot, and putting the words ‘Penalty’ on the big screen were all obvious enough indications.

Was one in the earlier game where it was a pen but overturned because player was offside earlier in the move

Probably wouldn't have been obvious why the pen was overturned in the ground

Yeah quality that, didn't panic.

Keep reminding myself that Saudi Arabia beat Argentina in the men's, all that matters at this point is getting through!

That's so true, this has not been England at there best by any means. But Haiti have some really decent players to be fair

What was the ref doing at the end 😂

3 points all that matters. Was impressed by some of the Haitian players, especially their CB and front player that stretched us.

Should have won by more though.

Could they do a job for us?

Yeah but when I watch women’s football

I go in looking at like two things

1. are our team better than the others

absolutely - by that metric

2. is women’s football better every time I watch it?

absolutely

that’s what I like and what I’m looking for

it’s a different game and you have to clear your head of the men’s game to enjoy it - that’s my opinion

im pretty gripped on this comp and at knock out it’s gonna be really fun

I can’t believe how much better the sport is in ten years

I think this is where they went wrong.

At the Euros they had the chance to market it as a more accessible, family friendly alternative to the men's game, make it an almost different sport and stand on it's own merit.

But they went the other way and compared it to the men's game at every opportunity which will never stand up, and has lost them a lot of credibility and support.
