DCFCOwls
Ricoh is a horrible stadium its high time they ditched the place and got a smaller but more homey type stadium similar to Rotherham perhaps? The ricoh is the more most soulless stadium ive been too and we play at pride park ffs, but at least our stadium has a decent atmosphere and is easy to get to and the pitch is well looked after. scram
Looking at the matches so far this league is Watfords for the taking Which is a surprise after the trouble they have got themselves into But they can even afford to lose Sarr now Depressingly... Whitechapel Owl
Phil Jagielka celebrates his 40th birthday by scoring an own goal. Shaun Wright-Phillips' son has come on for Stoke, Jagielka must have played against his dad at some point, can't be too often that happens. Probably played against his grandad too
Whitechapel Owl
Joao returns off the bench and scores for Reading, great win for them tonight. Blackburn could have gone 4 points clear at the top l.
owls maniac
Such a poor league this year. Pigs could easily win it IMO
markg
We are so unlucky that whenever we are in the championship, it’s the hardest league ever but when the pigs do well it’s the worst championship ever.

It's been a poor league since Villa, Leeds ect were out of the way. Embarrassing that we went down even with the points deduction.
SiJ
The quality isn't great this season. Watford aside, I don't think there's a team where you look at their squad and think blimey that's something special. Unfortunately, I think Dem Blades have one of the better sides (not saying much) and will easily get in the top 6. Weve said the same thing about our 2013-2019 teams. We seemed to bump into teams that got well over 90 points and the stamdard was much higher. We finished on 77 points with a near +30 goal difference in 2014-15 and finished 8th. We then go to pot amd it seems the league goes back to being sub standard with Fulham just coasting it in 2nd gear. We missed the boat but at least we still have a club after our nightmare Morris disaster at least

Southie_Owl
Will be interesting if Sean “he’ll get a PL job” Dyche will end up at a bottom 4 championship side.

WalthamOwl
Wonder if Stoke will go for Alex Neil again. I know they offered him the job when he was PNE manager and he turned it down. Think he would take it if offered it again.

I’d be confused if I was a Sunderland fan why the manager would want to go to Stoke. A smaller club.
WalthamOwl
Said this is the other thread but he is on low wages at Sunderland and on a rolling contract so hasn’t got job security
