If we are bring them in on loan, them we loan them. The worry for me so far is we have looked at no one over 22 yrs old. We have look at no one playing consistently in league football for the last few years and there seems to be this idea, that the players that have failed us for the last few seasons are going to be the core of the team. We dont seem to have had any goal keepers or strikers on trial, the key areas we desperately need. This guys yet another midfielder. I mean...Colchester United for god's sake! Cherry picking... None of the players signed apart from maybe one, or the ones we are looking at are on a upward trajectory and let go by average clubs. If we were getting players from Premier teams who wanted game time then i might get excited but this window has been a complete failure. We are stockpiling players who I have grave doubts will make many appearances in the coming season. Yet again we are missing the obvious and not looking at getting forwards. I really wouldn't have bothered signing any of the players we have so far. Should have saved the wages money and blown it on one forward. I try and sign Paul Mullins free agent after leaving Cambridge where he scored 30+ goals last season. Cannot believe no one has snapped him up yet. Only 26 last season was his first season of real note but league two to one is not a big step up. Wont cost as much as a premiership youth loan and if he get 20+ goal for us could be worth a few million quid with how silly football is now.
