Why? Probably loads of clubs are struggling...it's a pandemic at the end of the day

Ellis - for once in your piddly little life, stop being a contrarian for the sake of it.

We aren't paying players wages, so much so they are looking to leave.

We owe thousands of fans season ticket money despite promises to pay them back.

Oh, and we stopped paying wages in full four months before the pandemic.

Why do you think??? How many other clubs are there in the top 4 divisions where players are threatening to walk out over unpaid wages, that doesn’t own its own ground and is under a transfer embargo. It’s not rocket science mate, we’re up shiit creek without a paddle

All our money comes from DC so if he has cashflow issues then what can he do? it's a pandemic thinks aren't gonna go just swimmingly for every team. It's not good but 'the end of SWFC' is way OTT

This is the thing

Everyone knows I'm a football expert and thousands of people read this site to hear my knowledge and footballing information

But I don't know the first thing about actual Owls

I think that you’re knowledge of owls could very quickly match your knowledge of football x.

Exactly.

And even there are other clubs in a similar situation, how does that make it any better?

We part of some sort of elite club? Like a reverse Super League.

The next step will be the PFA coming in, that will either lead to the pay issues being resolved, or the PFA reporting Wednesday to the EFL, which will ultimately lead to a points deduction.

There's no way we are signing anyone of significance in the summer if this continues.  Embargo and not paying players means even freebies won't come.

If Chansiri cared for Wednesday, he would have walked by now.

A slow and painful strangulation is upon us and has been since early 2019, and we are still too polite to ask him to stop.

It started the moment Forestieri missed the penalty against Huddersfield in 2017.

Chancer’s gamble had failed then. And since then it’s been a slow painful death as it’s emerged he is a mixture of incompetent, stubborn, clueless and reckless without any sort of plan or willingness to build solid foundations.

EFL is not gonna be deducting points due to financial issues during a pandemic. Clubs haven't been able to make money

As others have said, maybe some other clubs are struggling. Still doesn't make things ok for us being part of that band.

And we seem to be the only club that is in the news day after day, week after week with news of unpaid players, furlough requests, broken boiler that we can't afford to fix, cash flow problems, not owning the ground, a lender who we owe a huge wedge to later this year having a mortgage charge over the ground!

Our list is endless!!!

Would you do business with a company that had our reputation and rumours/facts flying around as detailed above?

Pretty soon no players, suppliers or service partners will want to deal with us for fear of not getting paid.

I don't know if the chairman or his family can get any more cash in to the football club but it sure as hell doesn't look like it to me.
