Bannan agrees in principal a new contract

Recommended Posts

Anyone very thought bannan might stay cus no other team would be daft enough to pay what he wants for what he offers

O ye he'll walk into another championship team just like the experts on here said nuhiu and Hutchinson would

'Westwood and Hutchinson will never play for this club again'

'dunkley will never play for Wednesday'

Think before you speak

I can see Bannan going to Celtic or Stoke. Would fit perfectly in a Michael O’Neill side, and Fletcher possibly tapping him up*

Celtic is a good shout. If I was Scottish I’d probably want to spend my last playing days in Scotland. Also keep in mind Celtic normally attract crowds of 49,000+ and if you do well for them they treat you like a god. Stoke however is a craphole.

Bannan has said pretty much the same?

Hundreds say it - very few do it

Its easy to say because it rarely happens

Yet you don’t often hear players saying ‘I’d definitely like to say for another 12 months’

Saying you want to stay somewhere for the rest of your career is contractual badge kissing

Best footballer at the club, but he needs players around him with pace; movement and who put the meters in for him to operate effectively.

He's wasted with the current crop.

Can you imagine if we'd signed Vardy to play with Bannan and Ross Wallace when we had the chance?

But you seem to think Bannan will stay?

I take what he said about staying with a pinch of salt for the reasons you’ve highlighted above.

Bannan would no where near celtics starting lineup

There is no change though

Bannan hasn’t signed a new contract with us yet

Good.......because he has been here too long, and represents part of a group of players who we have achieved nothing with....course if he does sign it,and a decent bid comes in after, sell him....

I have no doubt he might thrive in another team, maybe Reach too,i dont care...

Absolute nonsense. The subs bench is literally a few meters from the pitch!

Your crazy for thinking he'd make their bench
