I'm pretty sure that is what Southgate will go with.

Tried and trusted,  except for Foden and Mount.

If that's our best 11, then Kane needs to be bang on it and not playing like he's got a fridge on his back like in his last two tournaments.

You do know he won a Golden Boot don't you?

Personally, I don't agree with some of the striking options.

Think DCL is pretty average and simply had a very good spell last season before returning to his usual levels.  Danny Ings is a far, far better player imo and probably the closest thing we have to someone who could come in for Kane, if required. I also don't understand why Southgate never gave Bamford a chance to prove himself.

No idea why he has called up the likes of Ben White. Seems completely pointless.

At least he has dropped Eric Dier though, that's a real relief.

I'm actually scheduled to go to the group opener against Croatia on the 13 June 2021, so I can be safe in the knowledge that I can shout abuse at Eric Dier's brother and he won't be there to confront me in the stands.

Agree with most of that.

I prefer Bamford to Watkins and would liked to have seen Ings.

Bamford, Watkins and Ings are solid Premier League players. Nothing more. The wildcard in all this and the one who will come through is Greenwood. Different level to the above.

I saw 3 penalties and one that few of his heel that he knew nothing about in his Golden Boot.

For me he did nothing in the knockout stages either.

If England are to win tournaments,  or even get to a final, we need to see the Harry Kane that has smashed it in the Premier League,  in some cases against better defences than he'll see in the Euros.

Taps in and pens don't count

Sheesh how much you pay? Looking now it’s £500 for the Croatia match

€50 for cat 3. We are members of ESTC & have a lot of caps, in top 1000 last time I checked so we are pretty much guaranteed tickets for anything we apply for. Those long trips to Kosovo & Wembley for pointless friendlies soon help.

Will your caps total stay high for Germany 2024 Josh, or will it be reset just to include the current 2 years?

Me & Mrs are gathering caps as we intend to do Qatar, but the impression I get is, very few will be going.

Ours will then carry forward into the Germany qualifying campaign.

It's a much younger team but the style of play if better than England.  Bit of a blooding in of younger players this year.  Spain can smash anyone or slip up against a smaller country.

Never seen a better England squad during my adult life.

Could have been even better if Hoddle had taken Gazza.

I mean, can you imagine?

He took Merson, Batty and Rob Lee. Gascoigne could have had one of those places.

Was there fitness issues? form? I can't remember the reason now.
