Think Trippier is a better experienced option, James is the best of the lot all round imo and TAA is best attacking option.

They're my 3 unless something drastically changes in form/injuries seasons end

Fair.

What is young Saka's best position? Usually someone pulls out or gets injured, which may narrow things down.

I'd take him as a left sided player if the squads are bigger.

I'd be taking

Pope, Henderson, Pickford

TAA, James, Trippier, Maguire, Stones, Mings,  Coady, Shaw, Chilwell

Rice, Henderson, Mount, Foden

Sancho, Sterling, Grealish, Rashford, Kane, Calvert-Lewin

That's 22

Last place between

Lingard, Phillips, Ings, Dier, Walker and Saka

Assuming its 23

How is Dier getting anywhere lists of what fans would want.

Bang average and going backwards.

Who else?

He also provides cover for two positions.

I think he’s suffering from a lack of confidence at the moment, playing amongst a weak Spurs defence. Seemed to excel in the tournament set up though with better quality around him.
Takes a good pen too.
I’d include him.

Exactly mate. I can't remember him having a bad game in an England shirt. He's also responsible for a few of my top England memories.

Free kick v Russia

Ramos smash

Penalty v Colombia

Liking the look of Bellingham a lot. Playing regular for Borussia in the league and CL.

A case of if you’re good enough you’re old enough maybe.

Good shout. I'd have him over Phillips who I simply don't get the hupe. Certainly not a top level player for me

Phillips or Bellingham offer far more in midfield, you already have 3 CB's plus Walker, if you want another there are about half a dozen players in better form this season.

The Carragher v Neville debate on TAA was interesting. Thought as usual Neville came over well and Carragher like a teenager convinced the world has it in for Liverpool.

Agree with a lot of what Neville said, but would personally still take TAA, more as a wingback/RM option in knock out stages

TAA obviously reads OT 🙂

Great finish yesterday.

I’m thinking about dropping Sterling so I can get mount, grealish and foden in the team

You want to drop one of our best if not best player?

I dunno, Mount, Grealish, Foden are looking pretty handy...good problems to have

4-3-3 would allow for them. But we'd be picked off in knockouts going that hung ho

Pope

James

Maguire

Stones

Chilwell

Rice

Mount

Foden

Sterling

Rashford /Grealish

Kane

I'd go with something like that for lesser teams and look to swap Mount for Henderson when we need to be more defensive. Though Rashford would be way off of my team, I think he's too one dimensional.

I’d drop Sterling. He’s hugely wasteful. I was watching a vid of KDB setting up teammates and the amount he put on a plate for Sterling which he scuffed was unbelievable,  like you honestly wouldn’t believe it. He’s a good player playing in a world class team, but not up to the level of his teammates

Dier, Christ, no where near an England side for me. He can’t even get in  a poor Tottenham side
