How good does the Kop look in that rich royal blue on that Photoshop picture?

 

Would indeed look great with a video wall on it or failing that, an even bigger version than before of the iconic and unique 70's minimalist owl that every other bugger in the country associates with us.

Fortunately that's not cladding. It appears to be canvas or some other material simply covering the previous exterior. You can see what appear to be seams, and the dead giveaway is that the original cladding can be seen on the edges.

 

This is a smart way to give the exterior a face lift (and the appearance of new cladding with a custom paint job) at a lower cost, just a shame about the graphics... Not sure if you've heard, but there's a great debate over whether that's an owl's buxom cleavage or an owl giving someone a rim job. If the club had an decency they would put the matter to rest by releasing an official statement. Personally I think it's a rim job.

Inherited the good basis for a side and had more dosh to spend than any Wednesday manager for donkeys years.

Wasted an opportunity for us to get promoted and produced some of the most dire and depressing negative football I have seen for years in his last couple of seasons even with a great surface to play on and an expensive squad.

His treatment of players coming back from injury was a disgrace.  

"but we were 90 mins from the Premier League" they say.......if we were still playing in that match we probably wouldn't have scored yet.

For some reason these doors tend to fade faster than any other paintwork on the ground over a year or two so always need redoing every year or so to stay that lovely dark blue colour

I miss the non-tarped west stand.  The name lit up at night was stunning.
