There is no chance will will get our money back on him

Probably right, but even if he did play himself back into form and we get abit of interest, I have no faith in DC to sell anyway. So yeah, he'll end up going for nowt.

Great business eh

Tend to agree with Minton on this one, although I accept he needs some time out right now.  Probably the right time to be giving Forestieri a run in the team, although I’m far from convinced FF is our saviour.

I tend to agree with you bud.

Drop reach and give Nando a run of games up till January. Two outcomes would come out of this.

1. He plays well, scores and creates goals and gets that spring back in his step and proves monk leaving him on the bench behind others that have been under performing being wrong.

2. If he's not looking something like the old Nando and has been bang average and hardly contributed wandering around like the last months of Carbone's time here monk is vindicated for not using him and if anyone comes in for him in January, there would be no mass hysteria that he'd been sold.

Their goal yesterday came from Reach doing a pretend tackle and getting beat on the D. He is a bottler.

It was a woeful short pass from Bannan that left Reach receiving a hospital ball.  But this is the narrative you hear all over the ground.  Reach receives a pass 5 yards to his left "move Reach you lazy c*nt".  Reach has a pass pumped over his head "jump Reach you useless t*at".  Reach has ball hammered at him and miscontrols it "you couldn't trap a bag of sand Reach".

Yet Bannan can do no wrong, Forestieri is the second coming and Kieran Lee is a demigod.

He hasn't been his self of last season banging in screamers but he certainly doesn't deserve the abuse he gets.

Just not bothered...

Here's a thought, for me until jos came he was mainly pretty average, nothing special, just a good solid championship player, chipped in here and there with some assists, but never really grabbed the game by the scruff and stamped any real influence on it.

From what I've heard and seen of him, he' seems a bit timid and a quiet unassuming sort of guy. He's one of those that dosent have an air of superiority or an ego problem.

If the manager says Adam can you play in goal today he's happy just to say OK gaffer if you need me to ill give it a go.

His best spell since he's been here was under jos, firstly when all the fans favourites and influencial players like bannan, westy, Hutch, hooper and co were out injured.

He seemed to get more stuck in, be more involved in everything.

Reach & Nuhiu became our main saviors that dragged us to safety through a worrying period.

It continued into the start of jos first full season when some were still injured and some jos wouldn't play.

He was playing well, scoring worldies and full of confidence, but not long after the old guard started coming back his performances started to drop off and be less effective under Bruce. This season those bigger dressing room influences have re asserted themselves he's been back to timid and having very little impact on games.

It does seem a bit strange, though there was that bullying rumour with Rhodes and the Winnall incident with nando may not have all been Sam's fault, but he was shoved out on loan could have been  due to upsetting certain senior pros in the dressing room.

Has the ability no question, scored some crackers for us even his goal at Middlesbrough earlier this season was decent enough, but just totally disinterested atm doesn't seem capable of beating a man maybe switch him back to the left so if it makes a difference

how many games has he played this season in his proper position, out wide?

Comes on v Swansea and Charlton, plays wide, instantly creates a goal. The bloke is quality - when on the wing.

Absolutely, he’s a winger all day long

On the left wing he is better than any other position he plays - trouble with him is he goes game on game without being involved

Showed he's best suited as a sub and coming on when the games opened up, he's no battler when the goings tough.

Maybe two bits per game on average over the season. He can go game on game without doing a lot.

Todays cross was the bit of quality that we were screaming out for, so nothing but credit for that
