Might sound selfish - but if he’s available, launch him on side for 20 mins - if he’s off anyway then it’s not our problem if he picks up an injury - we need to get some use out of him before he goes?! The season we lost to Huddersfield many suggested it was the loss of Hooper that was the deciding factor. He hasn't played for 14 months, his injury record previous to that was poor, let's be brutally honest his fitness levels in general are not great. Yes, a very good technical player and when available i'd say was the best finisher in the club, but being realistic he isn't going to get a new contract (shouldn't anyway) so lets move on.
