why is he still here

Recommended Posts

Could be a few things, some more likely than others

- Bullen taking charge probably wouldn't be good.

- The points ‘cushion’ we have on those below us is allowing Jos more time

- DC is looking for a replacement

- It may cost a wad of cash to pay Jos off.

- DC thinks it’s more that the players are underperforming

- DC thinks we’ll get out of this mess and start winning eventually

- Nobody cares anymore so what’s another 10 terrible games.

I honestly do believe Westwood is not available for selection. Yet still very happy to sit on his contract till July 2019. This is the only logical answer.

Or he has a none disclosure clause in his contract that if he brings the club into question he loses his cash.

Westwood has been sidelined no doubt but he isn't third choice for any reasonable manager when we have a kid in the net with a dodgy defence in front of him.

He'd be a bit more animated in the dugout. I don't know whether I'll be able to get that image out of my head now

Pretty sure JL would riverdace in his underpants on the touch line if DC asked him to. He’s good at following direction.

Its total and utter rubbish, the theory has so many holes in it its unreal yet people still state it as fact. :Chansiri:

So if it's total rubbish and has so many holes ..

What is the true version or "Theory" as you state ?

Westwood isn't being picked for some reason but nobody can discuss this because of non disclosure clauses. This leaves the club is free to say he isn't good enough to oust a kid who isn't half the player he is or gives the back line any confidence at all.

See perfect logic

Lets start at the beginning, Westwood has made 138 appearances, I'm pretty sure no contract in the 100 and odd years of football has had a clause triggering a bonus for playing 139 games, its laughable to even suggest it.

We may not be able to afford to sack Jos, but can we afford to keep him?

I think we will sell someone like Reach in January, then we might be able to afford to sack Jos

Chansiri will have to be careful though, selling a favourite will affect season ticket sales, so I expect any business to be done late in the window

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

One of the commentators during the Pigs game mentioned that if Westwood played two more games it triggered a new contract and a big rise

To be fair, I wouldn't put all the blame on Dawson. The dynamic of the team, even to go as for as body types of players.....aren't ideal.

We're in a dog fight with fancy dan players. FF, Bannan and tackle shy Reach.
