As soon as I saw that on his Insta story, I was waiting for someone to stick it on here.

I do like Gary Hooper to be honest but he doesn’t come across as the most committed when it comes to fitness.

I can’t imagine being unable to work for 9-12 months, even if I were still getting paid I think I’d go crazy with it. I’m sure little to no footballers would rather be injured to be fit and able to play, especially in last years of contracts and needing to prove self to current or future clubs.

I don’t begrudge any of our long term absentees from doing activities away from football so long as it’s not hindering their recovery.

I’ve no problem with injured players enjoying themselves but I do find it strange when there allowed to play golf etc.

Never played golf really but I imagine it can’t be good for your back, hips or knees?

Maybe be I’m wrong though?

Footballers tend to be a bit thick as a breed, don't they? Not going to make a judgement call as to whether he should be playing golf whilst 'injured for football' but I sure as hell think he should resist telling the world about it! He's only got himself to blame if this blows up in his face.

Not like Wednesday fans to form an opinion on something without all of the facts

Jos said in his post match interview that the squad have some free time this week
