Philb125
Would you rather him at s medical facility with a treadmill next to the bed and weights room down the corridor for the 9-12 months he’s been out?

I do like Gary Hooper to be honest but he doesn’t come across as the most committed when it comes to fitness.
Philb125
I can’t imagine being unable to work for 9-12 months, even if I were still getting paid I think I’d go crazy with it. I’m sure little to no footballers would rather be injured to be fit and able to play, especially in last years of contracts and needing to prove self to current or future clubs. I don’t begrudge any of our long term absentees from doing activities away from football so long as it’s not hindering their recovery.

S72 Owl
I’ve no problem with injured players enjoying themselves but I do find it strange when there allowed to play golf etc. Never played golf really but I imagine it can’t be good for your back, hips or knees? Maybe be I’m wrong though?
Almat
Footballers tend to be a bit thick as a breed, don't they? Not going to make a judgement call as to whether he should be playing golf whilst 'injured for football' but I sure as hell think he should resist telling the world about it! He's only got himself to blame if this blows up in his face. Edited October 9, 2018 by Almat

Almat
Good job Abdi's not there, odds on to get hit in the face with a stray tee shot. Edited October 9, 2018 by Almat 1
