Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich (MDT thingy)

Recommended Posts

The result is what counts, everything else is just back ground noise. Keep it going Jos and SWFC.. Hopefully get some reinforcements and a bit of time before the guillotine comes out. This coach has done the business in Germany, now he deserves a chance to show his coaching talent here. Good luck Jos, dont let the      bas tards drag you down

I have no idea IF there's an injury or fall out but for me he needs to be on that pitch more than he is at the moment

I was listening to radio ipswich   they were really happy he wasn't on the pitch and when he came on they said OoooAaar, Oh No, boy!

Just for accuracy, like

I’m coming to the match today so be afraid, be very afraid. The last two wins I’ve seen at Hillsborough are the thrashing of Preston last season and before that beating Derby - yes, the one at the end of Carlos’ second season. This being despite the fact that I’ve seen a good chunk of matches since then. Add in that I’ve never seen us beat Ipswich and frankly I reckon you could be forgiven for arranging a mob to stop me reaching the ground tomorrow.

The power of the reverse jinx ladies and gentlemen.

You’re welcome  :stuwinky:

I thought that was almost exactly the same as the Hull game in that it was two poor teams in a game we shaded. The difference was that we had Joao up top, who is more reliable at burying chances than Fletcher.

We won and are building a strong home record, but there’s a lot of work to do. More players looked comfortable in this formation than the 5-3-2, especially Palmer, but others like Reach didn’t.

My point is you are saying Jos isn't the man.

Then saying it's unfair to ask who is the man.

Would you sack him with absolutely no one in mind that you think is the man to take over the burning temple he's working in?

Well, if you’re asking me what I would do if I was Chairman, then yes. I would be looking for another appointment.

Like a manager evaluates players, I like to think the chairman should evaluate the manager.

Looking back at the Millwall game last season when no strikers were played. The quality of football and enjoyment factor of watching a game. Chopping and changing of the squad. Regular poor defensive displays, considering he was sold as devensive specialist coach. The devaluation of saleable assessets like Westwood. And yes, the great run we had towards the end of last season. Who I can that can get the most of what we have.

But, hay ho. I’m not in that position so it’s an unfair assumption on my part.

Has anyone watching iFollow seen a decent replay? On the replay in the stadium he was miles offside.

Did one of our players head it on or something?

The player standing offside was doing exactly that -Standing. He could hardly be deemed to be interfering with play, and, as such was deemed not to be offside. The player who scored  came though the wednesday line, and as such was onside. Unfortunately that is the imo rather stupid  law.

On the appeal of Wed players the Ref checked this with the Lino and the goal stood.
