#SWFC BREAKING - here is how Wednesday line up today

Recommended Posts

Given our financial position, I imagine we would have been receptive to bids for just about anybody. It was not so much a case for who we wanted to get rid of, but who there was interest in. Ideally, we'd keep Westwood, but if we can get a decent fee for him then I'm afraid it's an easy decision.

Yeah, but just simply announcing his availability to the media is not how you make a transfer happen. How do you know we haven't been trying to sell him already? It takes someone willing to buy at the right price not just a story in the press.

Not every club knows whats going on in every position....

Simply announcing to the BBC reporters would get them talking on twitter and get interest moving.....

Jos has probably been told Westwood's wages are too high weeks ago. So he has known all pre-season really....

Guess I should expand on that, Snoots.........I was also hoping that Reach was in midfield, Hutch centre half and VA left full back.lol

I agree re Hutch RCB.

If playing a pair

I prefer these two...

But Fernando must play...

Still think we'll have enough though.

Managers don't sell players nowadays. They coach the team.

It's nothing to do with Jos...

I don't think clubs just sit round monitoring the BBC website for ideas. It's why there are scouts and agents etc.

Anyway, it's game time. Not too bothered either way to be honest.

Bannan         115+5 appearances (5 goals)

Hutchinson    93+10 (5)

Pelupessy     18+1 (1)

TOTAL           226+16 (11)

My point exactly bud, when it comes to being a goalscoring threat our midfield without Wallace or Lee are about as impotent as a eunuch lol

as long as BB is allowed to go where he wants (but not back towards the defence the pick up the ball like he seemed to do lots last season under carlos!)

BB has to show he is not overrated. Usually he has played much too far back and rarely runs up to a level with the strikers.

Agreed, need to add goals from midfield and/or set plays.

Garth Southgate showed the importance of set pieces to win you games with England in the world cup almost all our goals came from them, if your not good at defending them either it costs you as well.

Looks like

                 Dawson

           JVA.   Lees. Pudil

Palmer.                               Reach

               Pessy.  Hutch

                    Bannan

              Nuhiu.        FF

Not bad tbh

Could be this and already it's a more attacking side.

                      Dawson

           Lees Hutchinson Van Aken

Palmer                                            Pudil

                     Pelupessy

                 Reach Bannan

                Nuhiu  Forestieri

Doubt it. Pudil said yesterday that he can’t play that role anymore
