Lord Snooty Posted June 2, 2018 Author Share Posted June 2, 2018 To be fair to Boyd, few things. Made his name as an up and down wide attacking player. Comes here and is told to not run as much, tuck in where possible, and get the ball passed square into an outnumbered and static central midfield. Then he injured his shoulder badly and requires 2 bouts of surgery and misses months of match time. Eventually comes back and has to catch up his match fitness and ends up playing in an entirely alien role that he's not played before in his career. He's not had the best of times.
