Hutchison - I'm fit but not allowed to train

Oh and for all you conspiracy theorists out there, Sam played his 100th game for Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing day at Nottingham Forest. Then he played again at Brentford before needing another hernia operation in January.

Also for all you conspiracy theorists out there:

Maybe he has a clause written into his contract which increases his wages after a certain number of operations?

That would certainly explain why he's always getting injured, wouldn't it? Hmmmmmmm. Now I'm not saying I'm ITK, but I find that plausible. Watch this space.

Either way that means absolutely nothing mate really

100 games isn't a definitive number of games for anything

I know. It was a sarcastic remark at those who believe these rumours.

Not true.

The increased insurance premium would cripple us.

Pun intended.

There will be at least two requests to re-ask the question before dismissing it

And they will forget Jos isn't a native nglish speaker and will ask the question in a more convoluted  and complicated way each time

I'm just passing on some info. I made up, pal.

I'll leave it up to you to decide what to do with it.

Until

1. Giddings rambles his way to an obscure question

2. To which Jos gives an irrelevant answer

3. Leading to an extremely fence-sitting Alan Biggs article

4. causing Rob Staton to stop callers talking on FH so he can repeatedly tell the world his own opinion...which happens to be the only truth known to science.

Then i refuse to believe your made up story

Why say it then?

Anybody can make statements like that but unless its backed up then it's not true.

Even if I named them it wouldn't be backed up.

I said it to to demonstrate that contracts aren't just about playing 100 games. Naming them doesn't change that

And if it did might only be league games

There is some good stuff on Google about the make up of player contracts, how the negotiation goes between Club, agent and player and the bonus structure.

Jos literally said on 19th February that he was hopeful Sam Hutchinson would be able to join in with training on the 21st....

Seems like just being precautious to me, which makes sense rather than having him back too early

Wouldn't surprise me if Hutch is the kind of guy who insists he's fit and needs to be held back for his own good.

So why say it. Obviously you are unable to back it up.

Contracts arn't available for Joe Public to see.

Perhaps like me you spend too much time on Football Manager.WTF:

Did you not read my post?

I'm not going to share specific contract details.

Believe what I wrote or not. Your call.

100%. You can tell he would drag himself on that pitch at 50%, and to be honest I'd much rather that than players who don't want to other than when 100%.

But thats where your management come in and just try calm them down and hold them back.

The medical staff would tell you he's a massive diva.

But I bet you this situation really hurts and he wants to get out there and fix it.
