BREAKING - Season Ticket refunds announced on official website

Recommended Posts

As an ifollow person, it's interesting to see the offer from the chairman. Just offering it is fine, but the reason to buy a season ticket is of course to save money. Assume theconditions will be based on day ticket prices. I have had3 matches where i couldn't see the live stream, but no refund offered. Perhaps expecting too much.

Has anyone found out the conditions attaching to the refund?

I'm not a season ticket holder, I'm just curious.

(1). number of home games remaining divided by those played ie one season = 14 / 26 two seasons 40/52 etc x cost.

(3) All priority point withdrawn therefore set to zero - can't expect to get plum tickets away or at Wembley

(3) Must provide passport photo so you cannot be admitted again.

(4) Photo displayed in the new hall of notoriety.

Enjoy sky tv.

I never said it was constructive but I wouldn't call it abuse either.

Do you have anything at all positive to say about the club. You have negged me a few times because I have dared to say something that differs from your opinion. I have tried to debate with you also but all you post is if, buts and maybe's and constant negativity. Please either debate like an adult or stop replying to my posts. We all have opinions and I do not agree with somethings at the club, but you need to take a step back into reality and stop having a go at fellow fans.

She is Charlton's Dave Allen. They warned warned us about her. Would we welcome Big Dave back without a care - clean slate etc  - or would we be wary? And that is all some of us are being. No-one is protesting about her arrival.

Totally unfounded and irrelevant comment at this point in time.

No correlation at all  Dave Allen went as supremo and owner  he could replicate his toxic way of club running as he wished.

Our new CEO performed according to her instructions from the Charlton owner she will now perform as Chansiri instruct and NOBODY yet knows how that will be...as others have said wait and see you may turn out to be right but equally wrong.

Another unfounded allegation against Dave Jones!

Let's just say she didn't cover herself in glory when it came to getting on with fans. I hope and, for what it's worth, believe she will do better here. But we'll just have to wait and see.

This is all getting stupid now, cause we all know that no one is going to take him up on his offer of a refund even though some of us have said we will including myself after the Burton match which was only out of frustration with no actual intention of going through with it.

Surely someone should be advising DC that all we want to know who the manager is going to be and what is the plan for the club going forward, once we know that we can all move on and stop embarrassing ourselves.

So you and others asked for a refund but didn’t mean it.

Perhaps Mr C offered the refund but didn’t mean it either.

Does that make everyone quits?

Can we all just get along nicely now?

lol

Im not sure what you expect from a owner of our club but i just want him to get on with the job and not antagonise fans, likemit or not he has with this offer and statement.

If this was dave Allen 99% of our fans would have been outside th pe casino waiting to lynch him gpfor having the nerve and rightly so, it just seems that because our new owner has money it doesn't matter if he says what he thinks regardless.

Agree he needs to get on with it as this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. like I said before it was the fans who initially antagonised DC with their rant and request for refunds. He has simply pacified their request.

So the route cause is the fans not DC.

We have asked for honesty and transparency and he gets peltors for doing so.

If Chansiri has heard or read fans saying they want refunds, it's not unreasonable for him to take them at face value and give them what they were asking for.

If it turns out that the rest of these fans also had no intention of doing what they said, then I'm sure he'll be a relieved man.

There have been some in this thread  weighing up whether to take up his offer, though.

It's difficult not to post ifs and buts when I am not in control of the club. I have explained what I would do if I was in charge and what I wouldn't have done. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it any less valid. If I upset you ignore me. I'll reply if I want - that's what forums are for.

I enjoyed the football of 2 years ago. It was thrilling and entertaining. Last season I was bored shitless, this season I am watching an unravelling team in my own quiet, subdued, horrified way. I didn't even boo after the Burton game - I was a bit shellshocked.

Given I hate the prices and the kit, have been wary about spunking money we haven't got from the start and the team is in freefall, what do you think I should be lauding? The shop? The corporate side? The pies are OK. The pub idea seems quite good. I like the pitch. I could do without the big telly. I would quite like a manager and my parameters on what I would not find risible are incredibly wide. Whoever we get should be given time - Gray looked on paper a poor appointment but he did well. Likewise, I'm wary of the new CEO but hope she will do a good job and we have to give her time.

As regards the ST offer I as yet have no view on it. If DC uses it to penalise people I will think it reprehensible. If, as I think it will be, it's a straightforward "here's a bit of cash" then I'm not  bothered either way.

I hope this was slightly more acceptable to you. It's the best I can do.

The fact we're on national/international news about this is not good

Especially when trying to attract top class managers

Imagine being Paul Lambert and seeing the news coming out of the club in the last 24 hours

You'd be like "No ta"

Imagine being a potential sponsor, a new season ticket holder, etc

From both a footballing and commercial perspective it gives a WTF is going off there vibe
