Miffed
Remember the season that Newcastle came down (the time before last), they had an awful preseason even getting thumped 6-0 against Leyton Orient. newcastle ran away with the league that season
Guest RocketOwl
Rhodes as ineffective as last season. Way behind FF and Fletcher for impact.
Rodger Wylde II
It's a w&nk pre-season friendly. 2 minutes ago, StudentOwl said: Final one before the real thing... you expect to have half-decent good performance as this can at act as dipstick for what we can expect next week A quarter of the way through the game and we haven't had a shot yet... Dipstick? Don't you mean yardstick?

Guest RocketOwl
Laughable a week before season we have Pudil at centre back. A player who at stages last season couldn't even get in the squad.

Guest
I know its a pre-season friendly but it really doesn't seem like we've changed our approach in an attacking sense from last season at all, it doesn't seem like we're not creating from poor execution of a plan but from lack of a comprehensive plan. adelphi1867
This is why I am sat at home, now, responding to the post. If we were to play a Third division team why not Rovrum, to give the game some bite

We are pretty much last seasons team, only with (hopefully) key players starting the season fit and not carrying knocks, January signings having had time to bed in and a couple of additions strengthening things (must see that new CB sooner rather than later).
