Roll Up Roll Up Executive Boxes For Hire

Recommended Posts

Really do not know why so many on here are getting all stressed by the price of a Box that costs 40k, if CC lowered the price to 20K would you all rush out and buy one?

Are some of you writing letters to  complain about the price of Bentley cars .. No.

Just like anything else if you can afford it buy one if not what does it matter!

Should just close the thread getting boring.

Very good point... but surely it's already pretty obvious for anyone who wants to check that these boxes are standing empty? In my mind raffling them (or even just one a week) off is no more flagging the issue than just the simple fact that they sit abandoned every home game... but if it is true you're probably right

It's a shame to see the boxes empty - it was quite eerie last season sat in a largely full South stand with lines of boxes with the lights off behind us.

DC will no doubt have a plan, but alienating the corporate side of the business seems to go against the normal footballing community approach.

A Bentley has a market price and yes, you then take it or leave it. Boxes also have a market price based on our competitors - say United, Derby, Forest, Brum, Middlesborough etc.

If we are there and there abouts on price, and he still can't shift them then we would have a problem - double the (market) price and leaving empty isn't a good approach IMO.

If a Bentley was twice the price of an Austin Martin or a Rolls Royce then (those who could afford it) would moan.....

And then not foooking buy one

If he is doing that, why now, if we are a business project, he would take whatever he could now, then price the local business out and go for the big bucks when we get there.

Doesn't make sense pal.

Printer ink cartridge running low ?

sorry don't agree that the income will make any significant difference and challenge anyone to show me in the accounts where it does

There are probably 20 plus major incomes streams. Its a 60% increase in income on the boxes (if sold). Do that on all income streams and etc etc.

2015.16

Turnover rose by £1.1m to £14.9m during the period, an increase attributed to a three per cent rise in average league attendance to 21,997 plus improved revenue from commercial activities.

2016.17

Since then attendance has risen to 27,129 including play off game. That's around a 25% attendance increase while prices have risen so income from the gate has risen too.

Business expertise innit.

Sorry but the evidence is clear. The DC regime is bringing success.

Sounds more like a way round FFP to me.

I'd say other businesses linked with Chansiri will be legally listed as box owners.

Nothing wrong with that if indeed it's the case, the club has to look at every viable option available for increasing revenue streams that doesn't break Football League rules.

How is it a way round FFP if no f**ker buys one?

At current count Owlstalk has 30369 members.

Neil could put a statutory £2 charge on everyone to raise the funds for an Owlstalk box.

They'd still be 10k + left for hookers, streamers and balloons

That means we'd all get just over a 1 minute slot. These hookers had better be damn good.  WTF:
