Beauchief Owl
Transfer Centre Live reports that Burnley have agreed fee with Barnsley for Marc Roberts, in the region of £3.5 million. If true, is this likely to make it more likely that CH will move on, or will the money be used to keep CH? I would think he'll move if this is the case. And Norwich have supposedly agreed a fee of £1-5m for their other centre back, McDonald. This will be a January Sales unparalleled in football, well certainly in my time
markg
I do actually feel sorry for Barnsley. It must be so frustrating to have a side that they have built so well totally demolished.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
This is like when the Blavdes sold Deane and Fjortoff Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Hopefully he'll give us another OG when Norwich visit.

gurujuan
So they may lose Winnall, Hourihane, Bree, Roberts and McDonald, all in the January window
Big Jack
If Hecky goes to Forest too, Barnsley whippets could become endangered.
StudentOwl
If the selling of their good young centre backs for a combined total of about £5 million (In January!!) is to be believed, then I can't see Hourihane sticking around. Sinking and ship springs to mind. That's good money to be reinvested into the squad, but those sort of figures are laughably low. You'd feel gutted as a Barnsley fan for that when you think that other clubs in this division would easily get double that for their players
Rogers
They've had 3 games over the past 10 days, maybe they said let's get through these games and then sit down and sort out transfers
gurujuan
That will rip the heart out of the team, something I've never witnessed in January before. Southampton did a similar thing a few years back, but that was in the summer, when they had the opportunity to rebuild
Beauchief Owl
Ipswich in for Scowen, according to BBS website. It's going to give PH a lot to think about between now and Saturday.
mozzy85
Jesus that will decimate their squad if those players move on as well. Really hope CH see's sense and opts to force a move to us now. Edited January 18, 2017 by mozzy85
