owlandished
Very impressive run, a lot of it down to the consistency of Hutchinson, Lees, Loovens, Reach and Westwood - notably all, except Reach, being players Carlos inherited rather than brought in) Surprisingly, Lucas Joao has had more game time than Kieran Lee, and we didn't get knocked off our stride when FF was out and we have done it all without Hooper. Fletcher has done well scooping 3 in 6, which she should have added to v Newcastle last night...) pgmetcalf
Doesn't matter, I'm not one for looking at tables and thinking we're going to win/lose/draw. Anything is possible, even Rotherham won on Boxing Day
N0rtherner
Impressive form and run recently, especially when you consider we haven't hit our form, maybe until that Boxing Day match vs Geordies... before then we've had to grind out some results. So if we were to go on a strong run in the new year, this could be a very good season! :) Up the Owls!!
SheffWedBornOwl
I feel a lot of "Nail Biting", "Arse Twitching" moments before May 2017, that's the game and the wonderful feeling of following an "Owls" team on the up. At the end of the day all we as supporters can do is support and leave the hard work to CC and the team.....All the best for the New Year... See you at Wembley...... owlandished
One way of looking at which players have contributed most to this run is to look at their game time during these matches, compared to rest of season so far. It throws up some interesting names playing more Lees Reach Westwood Hutchinson Loovens Joao Wallace Palmer Fletcher Nuhiu Buckley Hirst playing less Bannan Lee Hunt Pudil Forestieri Jones Abdi Hooper Dawson Semedo Sasso
Philb125
Wolves (a) - 3 pts Preston (h) - 3 pts Reading (a) - 0 pts Barnsley (h) - 3 pts Rotherham (h) - 3 pts Newcaslte (a) - 3pts Preston (a) - 1 pt Wolves (h) - 16 clocked up - already surpassed many predictions and a great return from a possible 21. Bit of perspective maybe to be to all the doom and gloom I've woken up to. Really hope we can do a number on wolves at home, who ever is available and selected! It be interesting if after that game we could get a consoladated view of poster, prediction vs reality!
DesWalker
3 points on Monday would round off a great Christmas period. With a chance to rest key players and get some back fit for Huddersfield on the 14th

Let's hope the 31000 tomorrow helps us to really show up against a very poor Wolves side. It would be a truly superb points haul from the 8 games.
