We beat 'em at Wembelee 2-1back in '93 On Boxing day in '79 we got four (oh we got four) Then in twenty-twelve They told us to mind the gap but just like back then, we beat 'em again! To be followed with a rousing chorus of this city is ours. Try it to yourself, its actually quite good and celebrates each of the events highlighted in the OP. Putting this out again now it seems we all know the tune. Same as Carlos had a dream if anyone is still not sure and have posted it on several occasions in the last few years. All I would suggest is that it needs us to mumble '1979' after 'boxing day', before belting out the repeat again. Oh and don't force the rhyme, switch 'said they' to 'they said', less posh. And to solve the syllable problems in the last line, I'd suggest 'We've been laughing at the c*nts since boxing day [1979]'. Actually you could change 'said' to 'squealed'.
