matthefish2002
Andy Pearce springs to mind on cult players. Was a very old fashioned centre half even for 20 years ago. Sort of player who would either become a crowd favourite or scapegoat.
US_Owl
Kevin Pressman now owns frozen food giants Findus. Single handedly responsible for the relaunch of the Crispy Pancake he has overseen an overhaul of flavours to bring them up to the expectations of the modern pallate. Look in the frozen section of your local store for such treats as Boiled Egg and Beef Pate, Play-Do and Old Pastry fillings in these treats adored by the nation. Plus for the brave amongst you, bag a pack of Meat Roulette flavour - five of them are beef, the final one packed full of human hair - the possibility for bants with your mates is endless. Scott Oakes is a lollipop lady in Heworth, York. Darren Potter is an otter, and Julan Watts sells broken pots.

Tracksuit
Guy Whittingham, scored a few goals & looked like a bit of a lad. Probably did a bit of fingerbanging in his time.
mcmigo
Nigel Jemson and Gordon Watson definitely qualify. Way short at the highest level but the crowd really backed them as cult figures. In more recent times coughlan, di piedi and semedo
