TheEnchanter
But of an obscure one but Sidney Sam just been released by shalcke in Germany striker could do a job for us He's been sacked along with Kevin Prince Boateng. Unrealistic, he's a Bundesliga standard player and many teams will be after him. Got 5 caps for Germany, can't believe if you think that sort of player will be coming to Hillsborough this summer. Swiss Toni
I don't think we're minted but hopefully the appointments of Roeder and Pearson mean that we're going to use our contacts to get the best 'available' players in at the 'right' price with out being stupid. modboy
Needs to go to an English team if we want to develop him or get a return on our investment
Woodie
Aberdeen have had talks with Sheffield Wednesday about the possibility of a season long loan for Stevie May for 2015-16 I personally think it would be more beneficial for May to drop down to league one on loan and spend a season than to go back to Scotland. Get some games and goals and find his feet a little.
Tom22709
Would be daft sending May to Scotland unless it was with a view to selling him later

Carl Shutt is God
Sending May back to Scotland would be a complete waste of time unless we got money for him. He has proved himself there. He has not here yet so if we are thinking of loaning him it has to be either league 1 here or if another champ team want to develop him for us. Probably ain't gonna be a queue of clubs looking to take him though Maybe a few in Scotland, but would they have the money
Guest wilyfox
If he's returning north of the border, sell him. He's already trounced that league, and is unlikely to improve much up there so our asset won't develop. If he can't hack it, ditch him.
Guest shakesby
So to sum up rumours so far, considering we're on Page 70; Transfer targets Jacob Butterfield Jamie Ward Jack Thomas Jordan Rhodes Connor Wickham Actually linked Jamie Ward Jack Thomas Jordan Rhodes Possible outgoings Stevie May Pretty slim pickings so far. Rhodes hasn't actually been linked though, has he.. So far the only links are Ward, Thomas and Dempsey, along with the unrealistic rumour of Matt Phillips. The Night-Owl
Hopefully we'll be looking at wide players of the caliber of Ben Marshall; James McClean, Tom Ince, etc rather than someone like Jamie Ward who seems no better than the likes of Maguire and injury prone too. He'd have been a decent signing pre-takeover when we didn't have a pot to wee wee in but we should have a bit more ambition at least now. Good to see we're considering young lower league players who are regulars in their teams such as Dempsey and Thomas, and others, with sell-able value in the future. I could see a couple of our strikers leaving, in order to bring in the 2 or 3 quality strikers we need. Hopefully the likes of Kieran Lee re-sign and hopefully we can bring in McGugan soon. We've got a strong defensive platform just need the rest of the team to be as good going forward as we are defensively, in order to realistically push on towards the play-off area. Considering the quality we need and lack in attacking areas, it's going to cost us a fair amount to bring in the players we need, unless we smartly use the foreign market, out of contract market and pick up some of the best available young PL loanees available to Championship clubs.
