Also SG/his scouts may have looked at this kid and liked his promise as a winger rather than a right back (like when we had Tavernier on loan) I really don't know. But people have been moaning about Palmer, Buxton's fitness is questionable....Gray signs a right back....and people moan. It's laughable. Gray is well in the know that we need another winger and midfielder. I disagree that we need another striker though, let's see how Bus does first.... The Night-Owl Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Whatever happens, happens. Even Gray's most hard core critic can't put the blame on him if we don't get a winger today. He'll have wingers on his radar/list but it's up to PA and co' to make it happen. There's also always the loan window. Paterson did look a likely permanent deal for a winger, until Pearce was sacked, and we can't help that! If players aren't available/won't come/out of our price/wage bracket that really isn't Gray's fault. Exactly ^ But on the other hand it's probably a sign that the new owners are waiting for the summer, will evaluate and do our main business then possibly without Gray, unfortunately.
