OFFICIAL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY THREAD- SPLASH THE CASH EDITION

Recommended Posts

Palmer might be used as right side midfielder if we bring this Man U kid in

I thought this as well....or the man utd kid may be used as a right winger.....

Not being funny but if we get mcgugan, then this Man U kid gets a decent performance out of Palmer like last year then we sign a winger on loan, I'd be happy

Palmer can't cross for sheeet. Bumping him forward solves nothing.

If there's a marquee signing I doubt Staton will know about it in fairness.

I think if we do sign Lewis McGugon (especially perm) then that would class as a marquee signing for me!

We would have laughed at the thought had someone sugested just a few months ago!

A winger is priority for me. we are going no where with McGuire ( who`s not a winger) and Maghoma.

Phil King / Nigel Worhtington. Two defensive players - worked ok.

If the new owners do want to bring their own manager in then so far today is what you would expect to happen. They wouldn't give him millions to spend

I thought Maguire was used as our right winger

I would take Maynard but he wouldn't be an amazing signing, he's barely done anything in nearly 3 years. Think some fans' views of him are distorted by the fact that he scored 2 at Hillsborough last year.

That's 2 more than anyone else has this season  ;-)

They could both cross a ball though. And run.

It would certainly show our in-tent.

A decent winger on loan 10k per week til May would cost about 150k - not millions.

So McGugan would only be a loan, great.

Cuadrado to Chelsea is a done deal - so at least SSN have something to talk about ad infinitum for the next 7 hours.
