tomhollywood
Should have done that years ago. Not the worst idea for the sake of moving 4 miles down the road. Think of how many extra blokes would turn up to watch a game, Wednesday fan or not just so they don't have to get dragged around Meadowhall. Mr Farrell
Nobody posting in this thread is ever likely to see us play in the Premier league again in their lifetime. Much easier to acknowledge that fact. Saves a lot of frustration. Those of us that did see it are lucky people.
33
Those were the days Kev, when beating Mancs, Scousers and Cockneys (other than Arsenal) was the expectation and often the result. Also beating Liverpool and Arsenal to key signings. Heady days, never forgotten and never to be repeated...!
daveyboy66
I would have thought its bleeding obvious to even the dumbest that Hillsborough holds us back. poor location, poor facilities no effort put in by any of our owners/chairmen over the last umpteen years has seen us fall well behind the rest. this is a major reason why old tight wad will be stuck with us for his remaining days that's the reason our commercial side has never flourished...you've only got to look at Owlerton Stadium has developed....if only we had a chairman like t...err oops
Raygun
This 'we're in the wrong location' business: why is Hillsborough the 'wrong' place for our ground and where would the 'right' place be?

Indeed it does and iam one of the select few who's been very fortunate to have watched PL football.Generally feel for those on OT that may never witness PL Football at S6 unless? Paul Triplo
Milan doesn't own the club, the trust does. He's just the figurehead of the trust which I think has 2-3 other mmembers - these will get a say on matters too on what we spend/budget wise etc.... They could have said that's it the club spends what it brings in. Milan may have billions in the bank, its all immaterial though as he cannot just plough it in without giving it the trust first. The other owners of the trust are listed somewhere. You need to brush up on your trust law mate or just keep schtum. A trust does not have members or owners. It has a trustee and beneficiaries. Trust law 101 lesson over. The rest of your post is total dribble too.

adelphi1867
Sooner or later the club will be sold on, only waiting for the right idiot with more money than sense, until then we have to generate our own funds either with a good cup run or by, more likely, selling a player to invest in the 1st team, most likely Westwood. £2-3m and grab their hand off, we have Kirkwood to replace him, and get the necessary players in.
