I got up close and personal to all the players from late 70's to early 80's and they all had loose perms apart from................. Gordon Owen. His was a proper tight perm the one season when i got my autograph off him at Middlewood Road. So he is the undisputed winner. However, the season i got the autograph from him, he had a perm tighter than the Pigs' bank balance. So tight infact that it was like an afro. Have seen pics of him for Barnsley and Cardiff where his hair was straight/wavy so you must try harder Love your retro threads though, some of the best on Owlstalk.
