Guest firewall
Yorkshire post article - a good read. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/jones-is-aiming-to-leave-a-lasting-legacy-1-4835105
Furious George
Really good read that. It's like someone at the Sheffield Star had a good idea to interview a local manager, and then passed it to a proper journalist to do it.
owlZfan84
“Wycombe knew that, on the day, they could have played their best football but it wouldn’t have mattered. We were never, ever going to let it go.†Love that quote.

full fathom five
Makes for great reading, i really hope we can keep this buzz about the place. Up the Owls.
Rogers
A refreshingly good peice of Journalism that. The names were correct, the team was correct and no spelling mistakes. And the journalist actually interviewed someone - instead of making it up or waiting until its old news. Well done
theowlsman
Yup, a very good read apart from the one typo. Excellent in fact.

ChapSmurf
I agree. It's a very good read and great to see a little more of how Jones thinks. It makes me believe anything is possible. It's still going to be a tough and long season, but if he can instil the same desire he has in to the players, we will show that fighting spirit again and who knows where that will take us. dumboldowl
It's very exciting to have a manager who knows what he's doing AND a Chairman who's capable of helping him to do it.
Guest PrincessWendy
Yes! I really enjoyed reading that and it's good to bask - and see DJ bask - in the glory, but (being a bit of a basdart) it's worth remembering that what we all like reading and hearing might not always equal truth. Journalists are toerags who will do anything to sell copy. We know this, but it's useful to keep it in mind for future reference when the waters (as they must) get muddied. Bless you. Furious George
I love Milans reverse psychology. If you think you're too good for league one, then that must mean we won't be in it very long. I know his reputation of quickly pulling the trigger, but I love his huge demands of success in achieving our goals. i used to be sc_owl
Love this quote: “I spoke to their manager, Gary Waddock, as we came out,†said Jones. “He was in awe of it. I’d seen it before here, to a certain degree, when I brought teams here. But nothing like that. “Gary came up to me and said with a big smile on his face, ‘This is unbelievable, just like our place on a Saturday’. Sonny
I love Milans reverse psychology. If you think you're too good for league one, then that must mean we won't be in it very long. I know his reputation of quickly pulling the trigger, but I love his huge demands of success in achieving our goals. Amazing isn't it. 'I'm too good for League One' 'Prove it' 13 unbeaten games later... 'alright alright Dave, calm down, we get it now' as Milan drags DJ kicking away from the pigs lifeless corpse. owls101
Good read. I've said it before , DJ will become a Wednesday legend right up there with Big Jack and Big Ron. In fact, we should start calling him Big Dave.
Adem Poric
A decent article in one of the local papers is such a rarity it must be written by someone who doesnt normally work for them. Good read that is.
Womble Owl
Spine tingling stuff. I'm really looking forward to this season, it feels fantastic being a Wednesday fan these days, long may it continue
townend_owl
I really appreciate the honesty DJ has too. He could have very easily just said "it was an easy decision to come here" etc, but instead, told it how it really was. Like him more and more all the time. Top article too
