DBowl
That is quite witty, for some one who admits her English is not very good...................... I remain sceptical about new posters, hope I'm wrong No you misunderstand. My English is good but sometimes putting it in writing is not so. Also I must confess the joke was from my husbands advisor......sorry.

camffiti
This from the Daily Mail, way back in March 2007!!! It says Larsson is an old friend of Dave Allen.. Slick business for Wednesday Sheffield Wednesday chairman Dave Allen is in advanced negotiations with a Norwegian oil magnate to take joint control at Hillsborough. Allen, who owns just 11 per cent of the Championship club despite being chairman and major backer, is planning to launch a new shares issue in tandem with Berger Larsson, currently the main stakeholder of League Two leaders Hartlepool. The move would see the two men underwrite a multi-million pounds rights package that would stabilise debt-ridden Wednesday and create much needed investment to underpin a return to the Premiership. Allen's board are also considering three other approaches, including interest from an unnamed Chinese casino owner who flew in to watch the midweek 1-1 draw with Plymouth. But the connection with oil-rich Larsson, a long-standing friend of Allen, is considered the likeliest resolution. Allen said: "It would certainly be a way forward that would bring some money into the club ? and it would be looked on favourably by our bank." The Co-op Bank, who shoulder most of the club's £26m debt, had an influential part in Wednesday fighting off the advances of former Chelsea chairman Ken Bates, who then switched to Yorkshire rivals Leeds. Under FA rules, Larsson - whose business is based in Aberdeen - would have to relinquish his stake in Hartlepool, as part owner of the north-east club to join Allen in a new football venture. Didn't Bills say something about a returning chairman? :st2:
HarrowbyOwl
The Syrian economy is not good at the moment. What is it with you Syrians getting so busy in the football market at the moment? There's Yahya Kirdi over at Liverpool, now your husband at SWFC.

Guest chezzyowl
Good find - Looks like it was Chezzyowl. Hi gang just got back from a meeting and yes it was me and I'm surprised nobody picked up on my comment, before he resigned. It was only a rumour I heard over the weekend, but so far it looks right, he won't be manager but will be involved due to his insight and insider knowledge of the club and the fans. We'll wait and see
