Money Talks!

Let's be honest about it. If a decent offer is made to the club for any of our players that the DC considers to good business then any one of our players could be on the way. Let's consider ourselves lucky that we have DC and that we won't have our pants pulled like under previous regimes. In respect of player loyalty, it doesn't exist so much any more as the money on offer to players really is life changing. If a club offers 10k a week more than somebody is on already, then anybody would change employer for that kind of money (well 90% of us).

Personally I would not mind if we got a good offer and accepted it for FF, Nuhiu, Hooper, Lee, Bannan or any of our midfielders given we have so many in the same position. That money could be used to re shape the squad with some different options for tactical changes.

Solly, good point and you gotta wonder if keeping a player from EPL , like Fessi last season, is worth it, in terms of squad morale etc.

If we got £10 mill for him now and replaced with Ince or Lewis Baker, Id take it.

Christ thank God we have Carlos.

Ince is the most over rated player in the EFL and Baker I've no idea how he's starting for the U21.

Could we be trusted to spend it wisely though? Recent dealings indicate that we couldn't

Unless they're big offers to good too turn down, we should hang onto all of our best players. We stand a better chance of promotion with stability, like Brighton last season for example, and by adding quality around our key players. We just need a few players to add to the quality we already possess, and we would have a decent chance to achieve top 2.

When you say "recent" do you mean in the last 10 years?

It's just I'm struggling to remember the last time you were positive about a signing.
