SirSheridan
After seeing ANOTHER Jordan Rhodes thread, it got me thinking. Surely Rhodes has been linked with us for longer than anyone else in history? Any others that were continuously linked? and did we end up signing them? Whitechapel Owl
Luke Beckett seemed to be linked to us for a while. Colin basically admitted he only signed him for the pigs to spite us.

nevthelodgemoorowl
Wyn Davies and John Ritchie were linked for a long while. Davies always seemed to be the favourite until he signed for Newcastle, John Ritchie who had been prolific against us signed for us at the end of the saga. Bit of a lump initially but eventually bedded in to earn some respect. Jimmy Hagan of the Lane was one we hunted for a while without success. Catterick was also an admirer of Joe Baker and George Eastham in equal measure it was believed that either or both of these would/could have turned us from runners up into champions.
