Who are the biggest winners and losers due to Pulis's arrival?

Reach will be horrified, pulis will have him sussed out after the first 50/50 in training.

Think reach will be one of first names on team sheet under pulis.

Expect him to be on left of front 3 in a 4-3-3 or of the 3 in a 4-2-3-1.  Only wide player in club capable of putting decent delivery from out wide.

Reach is not committed enough, he won't want anyone neshing out of tackles

I think he’ll line up like this:

Dawson

Iorfa Lees Dunkley Van Aken

Harris Luongo Pelupessy Bannan

Paterson Rhodes

Don’t think you’re far off there.

I think Wildsmith should stay in goal as he’s conceded 1 in 3 games since back?

And I’d rather we had Shaw or Brown in the middle with Luongo as they would be better going forward.  But wouldn’t be a surprise to see Joey in Pulis’ team.

Van Aken at Left Back would be suicide

Palmer is perfectly capable there

I think the general consensus is that he’s seen as being disruptive because he has a strong personality and questions things.

Be interesting to see how Pulis handles him. Pulis is a very no-nonsense sort of bloke, which is one thing I do like about him.

Paterson is awful.Worst forward since David Graham add Windass and Marriott and its easy to see why we are second bottom. All three are L1 at best.

Paterson is a full back.

if ya think Windass is bad as David Graham then your a div

Reach scored a couple against Pulis’ Boro.

Plus, compared to most of our squad, he has quality. Pulis will pick him week in week out IMO.

One thing Pulis loves is a winger playing on his best foot (See Brunt, Etherington, Puncheon, Pennant, McClean) which is where Reach would fit into a new look team.

He also has good height, stamina and work ethic - qualities that Pulis values highly.

It all rides on him toughening up and adding that much-needed bit of bite to his game, something we've never seen yet but if any manager is going to bring that out in him it'll to be Pulis

to be fair , the stats on paper dont always tell the full story. Whilst wildsmith hasn't conceded many recently, he;s barely had anyone take a shot at him and his kicking has been woeful

Its the sum of the parts, not just a clean sheet

I wrote that post before  Pulis said he’d bring Westwood back, so i was talking about Wildsmith should stay in goal instead of Dawson
