Was a fantastic game to watch last night.

PSG looked really bright in the first half, City looking a bit out of sorts.

2nd half City came out like a totally different team and outclassed them all over the pitch.

Phil Foden is some player. Every time I watch him, he gets better. He's currently brimming with confidence and swagger. What a bright future that lad has. Pep has done a brilliant job with him. For the past 2 or so seasons fans were screaming for him to start, also saying he needed to leave City if he wanted regular football.

Pep looked after him and waited until the time was right. Fantastic management.

Great summary.

Foden has 7 major trophies at 20 years old. Hope he wins something at international level too. 👍

Foden has frightening potential.

The way he glides and can carry the ball reminds me a bit of Eden Hazard.

Thing is, I believe Foden's ceiling is higher than Hazard who it is easy to forget is a top player himself.

I'd go as far to say that 2nd half from City might be the best they've produced since Sheik Mansour took over. It was quite stunning.

I think Waddle summed it up well.

City play like a team, even with the individual brilliance they have in certain players. PSG have a couple of worldies but they play as individuals too much.

I went to pub & watched the game with Al Fresco.

Listened to Waddle as I drove home & as you say, his summary was bang on.

Neymar is a blatant cheat & Mbappe was anonymous.
The former couldn’t hold a candle to any of the great Brazilians.

Waddle always has been a great pundit / co commentator

I thought Neymar was terrific first half

Neymar is a brilliant talent.

His mannerisms mean he will always have detractors, but there's no denying how much ability he has.

A world class player, even if he's a bit of a petulant ****.

Forget potential.

Foden is already one of the best in the world.

Fair.

He's only 20 though, so just think what he could be.

Has to be starting for England in the summer.

Horrible when they surrounded the ref demanding a red card just because their player had gone just before. Which was a disgusting tackle btw

They really showed their lack of class there, was clear to see De Bruyne was taken back a bit with it too. The ref was excellent in that situation too.

He reminds me of peak Iniesta, I said this and a City fan I know reminded me they call him the Stockport Iniesta.

Can’t think of a better manager for him to be under. World Cups 2010 and 2014 and Euro 2012 were won by teams where the spine of the team played for Pep’s side at club level. People will criticise Pep for not winning the CL at Bayern, but most of the players who speak about him say he made them better, and the reason why Ancelotti didn’t last at Bayern was because the players found it too relaxed and easy after Pep.

I just wish City had more English players.
