Our saving Grace was that Bristol matched us for ineptitude. Or is it that we are both two decent sides at this level that cancelled each other out for large parts of the game? jonnyowl
Me and everyone sat round me must have been watching a different match. Thought he was usless today, was even having a go at him for falling over like a wet lettuce for the soft penalty.

He takes up both centre halves at times challenging for the ball...winning his fair share... I suppose if his header doesn't land at the feet of Jordan rhodes..Its a failure...despite the fact that if he hadn't won it..The ball would be heading back our way. Theres such a thing as defending from the front and pulling their defence about..Even if its just roughing them up. I admit to anyone..He's not the best player we have...but given our squad..He does a job...and is always available to do that job....Sounds basic I know..but given the options? Mr Farrell
Not his best game. Some poor touches, and lost the plot positionally too often. The time he stood out on the left touchline in Bazzas way was embarrassing.

acquiescefc
I love those who stand up for him turn it into 'but he won us the game' nonsense. When he starts we struggle to have any attacking influence or to prevent the opposition from moving forward. He's got us some great moments in time but these moments are few when starting. Thankfully Jordan is back ahead in the who should start. Get well fletch
Mr. Tom
Thing with Atdhe is, whatever else you think of him, opposition defenders are consistently as unable to know what to make of him as we are. That’s 90% of his appeal for me. And he always plays hard for the whole team, which sadly isn’t a given in football these days.
Dan™
Nuhiu is a great squad player to have for a team in our position and did okay filling in today. I don't there was ever much chance of him particularly impressing us compared to what Fletcher has been showing of late. He has always been more useful coming on from the bench anyway. I noticed today that he was trying to keep everything quite simple, never once really trying to run at a defender, always looking for an easy pass. When he joins the game from the bench he regularly goes on crazy runs and creates chances out of nothing because he's trying to make an impression. He did his job today, won everything in the air and put himself about to keep the City defenders on their toes, but if I was Monk I'd be asking him to take a few more risks. Despite being clearly limited with his movement speed, he has the ability to coast past defenders with the ball when he tries to. Morepork
I don't get the hate. You just need to accept him for what he is. He can look poor to a spectator but I can almost guarantee every opposition defender hates him even being on the field. He did exactly what he was paid to do today and whilst he's certainly had games where his performance has been more pleasing on the eye, today he won us the game. ljhowl
Have to admit I was pretty frustrated with him today. We needed him in the box not fluffing around in midfield or on the wing. Wanted him off for Winnall rather than Rhodes because I felt Rhodes could still sneak a winner for us with one chance. But then what does he do? Go a get a match-winning penalty for us that's what. Credit to the guy. Still much prefer him as an impact sub but he was the one today that got us the goal when no-one else was able to.
Guest gizowl
Was it Nuhui's fault Fletcher had flu today or talking to WBA whatever you want to believe, was it Nuhui's fault it was a ugly game, that we had Hutch out today or that Fox went off injured and we had to reshuffle. We ground a result out today and got the 3 points and Nuhui played his part. Some on here are total ass holes.
