Hack-Abusi
I’ll always enjoy Carlos’ first season .. brilliant counter attacking swash buckling football .. Unfortunately when the guy resorts to his own methods like : “Tactical Periodisation is a practice concept that has a Conceptual Matrix – the play, the collective intent, the Tactical, supported by the Game’s MacroPrinciples; it’s operationalised based on another matrix, the Methodological that is supported by its own Methodological Principles, respecting a Standard Morphocycle in building a Specific style of playing.” and tries to implement them in to the team it breaks and from that 2nd season onwards we look like a busted flush where the inevitable happened. Starved of youth, players of resell value, fitness etc we capitulated and he left us in a right flipping mess. The play off final in Wembley and Arsenal win certainly highlights but there are plenty of lowlights, from no shots on target in a over a month, some god dam awful football scraping wins to Bristol and Rotherham at home and that capitulation in the semi’s against a team we’d upstaged several times. He’s a short term manager which has shown by having what? Nearly 20 clubs in a 20 year managerial span? Think we are the longest at 2 ½ year .. What happened at Swansea was just us on crack and the speed button cranked up to x20!!

Bluesteel
His first season is seen as the apex of our achievement under DC, when it was meant to be the beginning. Says it all really!

Will Monk suffer the same fate? monk can't suffer the same fate. he can't be accused of spending more than any wednesday manager before him (as there's next to *** all left), and bottling it when it really mattered. he is however not having brought players in, still in with a chance of missing the glaring errors in the squad, and ****king the money on what's not needed instead. HIGHERSTATE
The team we have now is better than the one we had the first season under Carlos It's just the football is not as sweeping, gung-ho exciting. And we're jaded from a lot of drama since then. But we are certainly getting the job done with a proffesional and savvy manner. Borner, Harris, Iorfa, Reach are the players we needed then. Once you realise there are tactical analysts behind the scenes feeding them lines because they lack that depth of knowledge its a bit of a farce.
