As promised I attach the data to the end of August.

So after the first 6 games we sit in 11th place exactly as we did last season but 1 point worse off than last term. As you can see from the bar chart last season we started flatlining at game 12, lets hope that the current flatline at game 4 doesn't continue.

Apart from the Barnsley game we have performed poorly. Yesterdays result was coming, we got away with it against Luton but I'm afraid that unless something radical changes we are in for a turgid season.

Lee Bullen's despair that was evident in his RS interview makes it clear that a new broom manager needs appointing and quickly. Tomorrow will not be too soon.

Decent win today without being outstanding. Two very well created and taken goals. We looked a lot better once Winnall replaced Reach and Reach Replaced Murphy. Murphy is easily dispossessed at times and is a defensive liability.

We are one point better off than at the same point last season but in exactly the same position, ninth, in the league.

Saturday will be interesting against Fulham. I watched their game v West Brom and thought both teams looked average. Could be they just cancelled each other out. Either way I thing that we might get a result.

Anything we get from Fulham I view as a bonus. That’s a tough ask.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Murphy sacrificed for Luongo or Lee

Here we are two points better off than at the same point last season with our points gained bar nudging the play-off line.

There are two away and one home game in our next Three league games that take us to the point last season when it all went downhill after game 11. Three points from these three games will see us level with last term so there is the challenge for us to get ahead. We would hope that the three to equal last season will come from the home game against Wigan so anything of a return from the away games at Middlesbrough and Hull should see us in the top 6.

It was a strange game yesterday even putting aside the poor refereeing performance and the theatrical of the Fulham players both of which were pathetic. We looked both comfortable and uncomfortable in equal measure. There is no doubting Fulham's skills and passing ability.  There were times when it looked as though we were going under in a big way but we somehow got a foot in at the death to make the clearance. On the other hand we looked incisive and threatening on the break and could easily have scored a few goals. In the end getting the draw was probably no more than we deserved. Fulham didn't deserve the win for their play acting alone. If Fulham didn't have that in their game they would be a force to be reckoned with. With it in their game they will end up mid table wondering why a team with so many talented footballers didn't do better.

We are still 2 points better off than last season at this stage with Hull and Wigan to come before the International break. A couple of wins could easily see us in the top two by the close of play on Saturday. We then have the chance to put the pressure on when we come back from the break as we play away at Cardiff in the televised match on Friday the 18th.
